RESEARCH

Research 01
Identifying Competitors
The opportunity for Quick Job Manager was clarity, surface the three to four features people used most, make those impossible to miss, and let that repetition do the work. If people remember your core features, they remember you.
AUDIENCE
Two audiences emerged from the research. Different backgrounds, different challenges, same goal — get through the job search process faster and efficiently.

Alex Kim
Recent Graduate, Job Seeker
Age 22-28
Loses track of where they've applied and what stage each application is at
Tailoring the same resume for every job application is exhausting and time-consuming
Doesn't know if their resume will pass ATS systems before applying
Pain Points
In a market where landing one job can mean applying to hundreds, every hour spent tailoring a resume is an hour not spent applying. Needs something that does the heavy lifting
Overview
Mass applying to jobs
High tech comfort

Maya Rodriquez
Career Switcher, Mid-Level Professional
Age 28-40
Feels overwhelmed by how much the job market has changed since last search
Doesn't know how to position existing skills for a new industry or role type
Limited time to job search while still working full-time
Pain Points
Been in the same industry for years, but re-entering a job market that looks nothing like the one they left. Needs to reframe their experience for a new field, fast.
Overview
Switching Industries
Low to Moderate Tech Comfort
Research 02
Most Used Features
After conducting user surveys and competitor research, three features rose to the top — ATS Optimization, Instant Resume Creation, and Job Application Tracker. These became the backbone of the site hierarchy, surfaced repeatedly across every page so visitors couldn't miss what mattered most.

IDEATION
1
Feature Visibility
Dedicated nav tabs for each core feature, plus a tools dropdown, the three features were always one click away, on every page.

2
Catering to Demand
The main idea was to show the users what they were looking for in big, clear and frequent manner.
3
All-in-One Positioning
Positioned Quick Job Manager as a comprehensive solution, highlighting the core features users rely on most and ensuring they were easy to access.

4
Speed & Efficiency
Emphasized how the platform streamlined the job application process, saving users valuable time and making the experience faster and more seamless.
RESULT
From a 2-page site with no visual direction to a fully designed, responsive 12+ page web presence — delivered in under 3 months.
The site gave Quick Job Manager a distinct visual identity, clean, confident, and built to make a complex platform feel effortless to understand and even easier to sign up for.
